About
Practical, creative and compassionate support for children, teens and families navigating
ADHD, anxiety, PDA and behavioural challenges.
We look beyond the difficulty you can see, to understand what may be happening underneath — helping young people and their families move towards greater understanding, confidence and connection.

Our Mission
Our mission is to help children and young people feel understood, not defined by their difficulties.
We believe anxiety, behaviour, emotional overwhelm and demand avoidance often communicate something important. Rather than focusing solely on stopping a behaviour or gaining compliance, we take time to understand what may be happening underneath — including anxiety, a need for autonomy, emotional dysregulation, unmet needs or difficulties coping with everyday expectations.
This is particularly important for children with ADHD or a PDA profile, for whom traditional approaches to behaviour and parenting may not always be effective and can sometimes increase distress and conflict.
Through practical and creative therapy, we help young people develop greater self-understanding, emotional awareness and confidence, while supporting parents to understand their child's individual needs and find approaches that work for their family.
Our aim is to create meaningful, lasting change built on understanding, connection and collaboration.
Who We Help
We work online with children, teenagers and families experiencing a range of emotional, behavioural and neurodevelopmental difficulties.
We specialise in supporting:
-
ADHD and associated emotional or behavioural difficulties
-
Anxiety, worries and fears
-
PDA and demand avoidance
-
Emotional dysregulation and overwhelm
-
Anger, meltdowns and challenging behaviour
-
Difficulties with confidence and self-esteem
-
School-related difficulties and anxiety
-
Parent-child conflict
-
Difficulties with boundaries and family relationships
Children don't always fit neatly into one category. ADHD may sit alongside anxiety; anxiety may appear as anger or avoidance; behaviour may be communicating overwhelm, frustration or an unmet needs.
We work with the whole child, rather than simply treating a label.

Why Families Choose Us
Specialist Knowledge, Individual Support
Every child is different, which means that therapy shouldn't be one-size-fits-all. Our specialist understanding of ADHD, anxiety, PDA, behaviour and emotional regulation allows us to adapt support to the individual child and family.
Practical & Creative Therapy
Children don't necessarily communicate by sitting still and talking about their feelings. Our sessions incorporate conversation, therapeutic games, creative activities, visual tools and a virtual playroom, making therapy engaging and developmentally appropriate.
We Look Beneath the Behaviour
Rather than asking simply “How do we stop this behaviour?”, we also ask “What is this behaviour telling us?”
Understanding what is driving a child's reactions allows us to work on the underlying difficulty rather than repeatedly managing what appears on the surface.
Parents Are Part of the Picture
Children don't exist in isolation. Where appropriate, we work alongside parents to help them better understand their child's needs, reduce conflict and develop practical ways of responding at home.
Qualified Clinicians
Our clinicians are fully qualified with many years of postgraduate specialist training in child, adolescent and family mental health. We are registered members of professional bodies such as the BACP and have extensive experience working therapeutically with children, teenagers and families. Unlike many parenting coaches, whose training may be considerably shorter, our work is grounded in rigorous clinical training, evidence-based practice, professional ethical standards, and specialist expertise in assessing and treating complex behavioural and emotional difficulties.

How We Help
Our support can take several forms depending on the age and needs of your child and what's happening within your family.
Individual Child Therapy provides a creative, supportive space for younger children to explore emotions and experiences, develop emotional regulation and build confidence.
Individual Teen Counselling gives young people a private, non-judgemental space to understand themselves, talk about what's happening and develop practical ways of managing difficulties.
Parent Support helps parents understand what's driving their child's anxiety or behaviour and develop approaches to communication, boundaries, emotional regulation and everyday challenges that work for their particular child. Where appropriate, individual child therapy can be combined with one of our parent support programmes thereby allowing the whole family to develop understanding and new skills together. By supporting change both inside and beyond the therapy room, we aim to help children, young people and families move towards calmer relationships, greater confidence and a more positive way forward.
