Are you an overwhelmed parent struggling with your child's behaviour? Have you tried many different ways to change your child’s challenging behaviour without effect? Do the challenges appear just too big? Do you have a controlling child who challenges your authority? Do you often feel manipulated? Have you been on the receiving end of swearing, aggression and even violence? Many of today’s parents are overwhelmed, confused and at a loss with how best to respond to their child’s emotional ups and downs, especially when they are reactive, emotionally sensitive or even aggressive. Our individualised programmes have been developed and are led by one of our lead practitioners, Sacha, who, apart from being a child adolescent and family therapist, is the parent to a child with severe ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. As such, you will not only learn about strategies from research but also those based on real life experience.

Our parent sessions help you to develop transformative parenting skills. When a parent reaches out to us for care, we realize they are seeking a new way of relating to their child. They’re looking for parenting insights that will improve how they approach their child’s challenges and interests. Our individualised programmes recognise that the stress of parenting an intense child can be immense and  as such, they are highly practical with simple techniques that can be applied immediately and effectively in each home.

Families often come to us because their child:

  • Constantly argues or says "no" to requests.

  • Has frequent meltdowns, angry outbursts, or explosive reactions.

  • Struggles with ADHD, attention, organisation, or impulsivity.

  • Refuses to follow routines such as getting ready for school, homework, or bedtime.

  • Has difficulties at school due to behaviour, concentration, or emotional regulation.

  • Experiences friendship or social challenges.

  • Becomes easily frustrated when things do not go their way.

  • Is having a significant impact on family life and relationships.

We help parents:

  • Understand what is driving their child's behaviour.

  • Reduce conflict and power struggles.

  • Improve communication and cooperation.

  • Build positive parent-child relationships.

  • Develop practical, evidence-based strategies that work at home and school.

  • Feel more confident and supported in managing challenging situations.
