Develop emotional awareness and self-regulation
By developing emotional awareness, your child will be able to respond effectively to big emotions rather than react in unhelpful way.
Reduce impulsivity.
Children and young people will learn actionable skills to deal with distress so they no longer make situations worse with self-destructive or impulsive behaviors.
Improve relationships and communication
Your child or young person will develop confidence and communication skills to express their feelings, ask for help and set healthy boundaries so they can navigate conflicts constructively and foster long-term healthy friendships.
Develop concrete and effective coping strategies.
Our expert therapists will help your child or young person to analyze their current behaviours and develop individualized coping skills, thereby reducing the likelihood of engaging in destructive or problematic behaviours.
Apply practical skills in everyday life
Through fun, creative and engaging weekly personal work assignments, children learn to apply their new skills to real-life situations, leading to long-term behaviour change beyond the therapy room.

Supporting Parents Alongside the Child
Children make the greatest progress when parents are actively involved in the therapeutic process.
Where appropriate, parents are provided with guidance, practical strategies, and support to help reinforce learning and encourage positive change between sessions.

Are you an overwhelmed parent struggling with your child's behaviour? Have you tried many different ways to change your child’s challenging behaviour without effect? Do the challenges appear just too big?
Does your child seem determined to stay in control of situations? Do everyday requests frequently turn into arguments or power struggles? Have you been on the receiving end of swearing, aggression and even violence? Many of today’s parents are overwhelmed, confused and at a loss with how best to respond to their child’s emotional ups and downs, especially when they are reactive, emotionally sensitive or even aggressive. Our individualised programmes have been developed and are led by one of our lead practitioners, Sacha, who, apart from being a child adolescent and family therapist, is the parent to a child with severe ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. As such, you will not only learn about strategies from research but also those based on real life experience.
Our parent sessions help you to develop transformative parenting skills. When a parent reaches out to us for care, we realize they are seeking a new way of relating to their child. They’re looking for parenting insights that will improve how they approach their child’s challenges and interests. Our individualised programmes recognise that the stress of parenting an intense child can be immense and as such, they are highly practical with simple techniques that can be applied immediately and effectively in each home.
Families often come to us because their child:
-
Constantly argues or says "no" to requests.
-
Has frequent meltdowns, angry outbursts, or explosive reactions.
-
Struggles with ADHD, attention, organisation, or impulsivity.
-
Refuses to follow routines such as getting ready for school, homework, or bedtime.

-
Is having a significant impact on family life and relationships.
We help parents:

Understand what is driving their child's behaviour.
-
Reduce conflict and power struggles.
-
Improve communication and cooperation.
-
Build positive parent-child relationships.
-
Develop practical, evidence-based strategies that work at home and school.
-
Feel more confident and supported in managing challenging situations.
